Spiritual Prosperity -Ten mysteries you should know.

1. God created Adam as a Spiritually Prosperous Man.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And then in His image and His likeness God created man. God blessed them and said to them “Be fruitful and multiply”. Adam and Eve were spiritually prosperous without a limit. They had spiritual well-being and material well-being in the Garden of Eden.
2. Man lost his authority and dominion over the earth.

When God said to Adam and Eve “Be fruitful and multiply”, then the imperishable seed of God which was the Word of God was planted in them. Fruit is originally produced by the seed. When they accepted the thought of Satan they disagreed with the Word of God and rejected the imperishable seed that was planted in them and they allowed Satan to plant demonic seeds in their minds. This way they were out of the Garden of Eden which is the God’s original plantation. You can only be fruitful and multiply in the plantation of God, and you can only stay there if you carry His seed inside of you. Jer31.33 says “But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel: After those days, says the Lord, I will put My law within them, and on their hearts will I write it; and I will be their God, and they will be My people. His word planted inside us can only bear fruit in God’s plantation. The illuminating Word of God inside of us and the action logic of our lives based on that is the brand mark of tree planted by God. A tree will be known by its fruit. Fruitlessness has its root is disobedience to God’s Word. Such trees will be brought to judgement. And it happened to Adam and eve and as a result they lost the glory and likeness of God in them. Glory and likeness of Christ is the fruit of the seed abiding inside.

God give man the power to subdue and rule over the earth.God expected man to keep the dominion over the earth through obeying God. But the devil deceived man and took over the authority of Adam to rule the earth. That’s where poverty and sickness began as a result of the curse for disobeying God.
The root of all curses is disagreement with God and disobedience to the principles of God. Later in the New Testament time Satan told Jesus about his dominion over the kingdoms of this world…”I will give power, authority and glory,…it has been turned over to me”…[Luk 4.6]. The first Adam became a looser. Man needs a Savior, who can destroy the works of the evil. So that he can be fruitful and subdue and inherit the earth again.
3. Jesus promised us the fullness of life to remove our Spiritual Poverty .

Heavenly Father was willing to forgive us and deliver us from the dominion of evil. And He is the most awesome Giver in all eternity. He gave Jesus His Son the wealthiest eternal King to die on the cross for us and save us from the hopeless spiritual poverty. His poverty on the cross became the key for our Spiritual prosperity on earth.Paul said “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich”…[2Cor 8.9…nasb].

[Ps 35.27] says, “Lord takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant”. Paul said “I have every thing I need and am amply supplied, and My God will liberally supply your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus”…[Phil 4. 18-19]. Poverty and scarcity are not the promises from God. Jesus paid the price to give us the fullness of life through His sacrifice. However God will provide all your every need but not your greed.
4. Father knows your all your needs, even before we pray.

When we pray, “Father sees you in secret and He knows what you need before you ask Him”[Mat 6.6,8]. God has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm!…[Eph 1.3]
Paul said “He who did not withhold or spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all things?…[Ro 8.32] .
5. God enables us to prosper through the companionship of Jesus.

But see how to enjoy what God gives? Become a companion of His Son. It is written “God is faithful; by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord…[1Co 1:9]”.For out of His fullness we have all received one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift upon gift…[Jn 1.16].

His companion will unite and abide with Him through water baptism and testify, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me …[Gal 2.20]. We know that our old self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that body of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin…[Rom 6.6]

6. Abide in Jesus to always remain fruitful and multiply

Jesus Christ His Son is an awesome giver. He chose to give Himself for us to save us. He also gives the Holy Spirit without measure. Jesus said “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance”…[Jn 10.10]. King Solomon said, “Every man to whom God has given riches and possessions, and the power to enjoy them and to accept his appointed lot and to rejoice in his toil–this is the gift of God…[Ecc 5.19]”.

Pure faith with no trace of doubt, enables us to receive gifts from God. May Christ through your faith dwell in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love…[Eph 3.17] To have true faith in God, we should loose our self reliance. What God provides with out a measure should be also received without a measure. So what you receive freely, you can also give freely. God is a great giver, to receive and conceive what God gives, Virgin Mary believed and surrendered totally to God’s perfect will.
Great receivers like Paul said,” I have received from the Lord Himself that which I passed on to you”…[ 1Co 11.23]. You cannot give what you don’t have.

Even in financial struggles, Spiritual prosperity helps you to overcome poverty and scarcity with the joy in the Holy Ghost. It makes you say in all seasons of life, “God’s grace is sufficient for me”. As long as there is food to eat and clothes to wear we should conceive all the fullness of the peace that surpasses all understanding. This will keep you calm and undisturbed, even in times of trouble. Fruitfulness is only possible when the branch abide in the true vine. It enables you to defeat the devil who steals your spiritual and material blessings. Spiritually Prosperity and maturity keeps you deeply rooted in Christ at all seasons of life.Jesus said, “Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me”.[Jn 15.4]. If you live in Me and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.[Jn 15.7]
7. Flee from the corruption of this world by lust.

Love of money is the root cause of all evil …[1Tim 6.10]. In Luke 12:15, Jesus said, “Guard yourselves and keep free from all covetousness (the immoderate desire for wealth, the greedy longing to have more); for a man’s life does not consist in and is not derived from possessing overflowing abundance or that which is over and above his needs”.

There you will be able to say “we brought nothing into this world, and obviously we cannot take anything out of this world. If we have food and clothing, with these we shall be content”…[1Tim6.7-8]. Because Jesus said, “Seek first of all His kingdom and His righteousness, and then all these things taken together will be given you besides”…[Mt 6.33]. Apostle John wrote a prayer, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as your soul keeps well and prospers”[3Jn 2].
8. Know yourself who you are in Christ.

“We are the citizens of the state which in Heaven”…[Phil 3.20].So we need to receive from God and re-invest it in Heaven to accumulate treasures in Heaven by remaining as faithful stewards of God’s resources. Because we read,”The man who stores up treasure for himself is not rich toward God”[Luk 12.21]. “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”…[Mat 6.19-21].

Your earthly treasure can become your heavenly treasure, when you generously invest in the good works we are predestined for…[Eph 2.10]. It is written “Jesus Himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive”…[Ac 20.35]. A citizen of Heaven will definitely prosper. It means he will have ample supply for all his needs because God cares for you more than the birds in the sky.

Psalm 128 says, “Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in his ways. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your sons will be like olive shoots around your table. Thus is the man blessed who fears the LORD. May the LORD bless you from Zion all the days of your life; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem, and may you live to see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel”.

Everything you do will prosper or else you may fail to provide for “your relatives and family and then Apostle Paul will call you a person worse than an unbeliever…”[1Tim 5.8]…because of your lack of responsibility for not receiving from God for the family. Paul said,” I have received from the Lord Himself that which I passed on to you”…[ 1Co 11.23]. You cannot give what you don’t have.

9. Trust in God and rest in Him.

If you are struggling constantly without receiving what God has provided in abundance, then you may take a break to surrender your inner life before God and totally submit your heart and its action logic to Him. Now may Jesus cleanse your whole being and may Holy Spirit teach you how to receive every blessing Heavenly Father has given through the sacrifice of His Son.

Lord will sanctify you and help you to broaden your mind and enlarge your vision of God through the revelation of Christ. By the anointing of the Holy Ghost, Virgin Mary received and conceived God’s promise and gave birth to Jesus. Faith comes from hearing the Word of God. We should believe and conceive God’s promises and give birth to it by the power of the Holy Spirit. God is Holy and unchangeable and faithful to fulfill His word. God’s promises are all amazingly yes in Christ for you and me who believes.

Jesus thought us not to worry; He said “We are more precious than the beautiful little sparrows”. God cares for us more than birds, green grass and flowers. Jesus considered us priceless and bought us with His own holy blood. Our daily needs are already provided in abundance like we are healed by the stripes of Jesus. The great Shepard deposited resources for us in our account so that we will lack nothing in times of our need. His crucifixion and His power of resurrection send us the overflow of mercy and grace for the celebration of life with Him on Earth.
10. The keys to Spiritual Prosperity.

When we remain faithful stewards of God’s resources, He will make us prosper.
“A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed”[Pr 11.25]. “The blessing of the Lord brings wealth and He adds no trouble to it” [Pr 10.22]. Ps 126.5 says “Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy”. Heavenly Father knows all your need and He know what you need before you ask Him your need [Mat6.8, 32]. If we seek His kingdom and His righteousness then all the goodness of God will be following you. King Solomon says “Every man to whom God has given riches and possessions and the power to enjoy them and to accept his appointed lot and to rejoice in his toil- this is the gift of God “[Ecc5.19].

PRAISE THE Lord! (Hallelujah!) Blessed is the man who fears (reveres and worships) the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments. His [spiritual] offspring shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Prosperity and welfare are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever [Ps 112.3].

“All who keep on asking receives”[Mat 7.8]. Without faith we cannot conceive God’s promises and accomplish God’s purposes. His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

Divine nature formation in us is the purpose of God’s promises. So Peter said again, “For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. “[2Pet 1.3-8]. We are appointed to posses the Spiritual qualities of Christ and inherit the earth. Jesus said, blessed are the meek, they shall inherit the earth. The yoke of Christ is humble and gentle.

According to what Peter said, our needs are already given to us through His power for the fulfillment of His purpose. Jesus said in [Jn 6.40], “This is My Father’s will and His purpose, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day”. The purpose of the promise is sanctification [1Thes4.7]. 1Cor 1.18 says “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God”. To inherit what God has promised for the fulfillment of His purpose, we need faith and patience [Heb 6:12]. This is where you need to “Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves. Do you not yourselves realize and know that Jesus Christ is in you–unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected? [2Cor13.5]”. Therefore, “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance” [Jam1.2-3].

To receive material prosperity, you just need faith in God’s promises and Divine power, but if you are chasing Spiritual prosperity then you need faith in God’s purposes and Divine nature. Here as Peter said, we need to add seven key things to our personal faith, like goodness, knowledge; self-control; perseverance; godliness; brotherly kindness; and love. This will make you spiritually prosperous. When this was done Psalmist wrote, Psalm 40:1 “I WAITED patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry.(AMP)”

Now God’s provisions are kept in the earth for us, it doesn’t mechanically land from the sky. It is written “My righteous shall live by faith”. When God provides His goodness, it comes through the wealth of the nations which is now under the dominion of evil. God created the earth and it was under the dominion of Adam. Adam exchanged it’s dominion with the devil through the deception of sin. But in Jesus we have hope that never disappoints.

Hey there is good news. Jesus after conquering sin and death on the cross said, “Now all authority in Heaven and earth has been given to me”. In the name of Jesus curses are broken and this truth has set us free. Watch out, Jesus also said “The Kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force”. The God’s righteous are bold as a Lion. They fight a good fight of faith to take back what belongs to them. When you worship God in truth and spirit, your battle belongs to the Lord who is strong and mighty in the battle. There you become more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us. God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The mystery of your victory is hidden in the History of Jesus. So Paul says “you rejoice in the Lord always”.

The joy of the Lord is your strength. Without grumble and doubt exercise your faith and claim what God has provided every day. Nullify the power of evil and demolish his dominion over the provisions of God for you on earth by the sprinkling the blood of Jesus over it through faith confessions. Plunder what righteously belongs to you in the name of Jesus. Ask the ministering Angels to go and bring the gifts of God that provides your daily needs from the ends of the earth. Now thank God and worship the Giver not the gifts you receive from Him daily. Give thanks for the great things the Lord has done in the past, present and all eternity. With all your heart bless the generous people who joyfully partnered in the compassionate move of God to provide you with abundance of life every single day.

The Kingdom of God is not in word but in power. When we show obedience of faith in His word we see the glory of God on earth. God’s word and God’s power will make us over comers over constant struggles in life. If we believe God without a doubt and glorify God as God, His Word will release His power without a measure right now. Shout for Joy. Our God is an awesome God. May the God of peace crown your head with the fullness of the knowledge of Christ!!! Go and make His praise glorious. We are called to be blessed and to bless. May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding keep your inner man calm and undisturbed through the grace of Jesus Christ our Lord and King!!! Amen
